Witiyala Seewalie Thero

The Founder, Ven. Witiyala Seewalie, is a Buddhist monk from Sri Lanka. Formerly he was the Principal of Parama Dhamma Cetiya Pirivena, Ratmalana, Sri Lanka. Presently, he is the president of the Buddhist and Pali College, USA. He has obtained following degrees, Royal Pandit (OSS Sri Lanka), B. A. Honors, M. A., Doctor of Literature & Diplomas in Pali,  Buddhism & Bible Studies. He is the president and abbot of the MN Buddhist Vihara. He currently serves as a volunteer Chaplain on the Minneapolis Police Department, on the Board of Directors for the McKinley Neighborhood Committee and  a volunteer teacher at City View School.

Bisho kirti Maharjan Thero
 

Bisho kirti Maharjan Thero is a resident monk of MN Buddhist Vihara and Principal of MNBV Dhamma school. He was born in Nepal. He studied Buddhism in Sri Lanka. He has Diploma in Pali language. He speaks Sinhala, Hindi, Nepali, Newari and English Language. As a resident monk he also volunteers as a teacher at City View School.

Rajanganaye Nandawimala Thero

Rajanganaye Nandawimala Thero is from Sri Lanka. He became a monk when he was 12 and completed his monastic education and training in Pirivena. In addition, he received  a B.A. and M.A. from a Sri Lankan University in Buddhist Studies. He was a former principal of Sri Dhammananda Pirivena, Kamburupitiya, Sri Lanka. Now, he is a resident monk at the Minnesota Buddhist Vihara.

Bhikkhuni Satima

Bhikkhuni Satima was born in Sri Lanka and migrated to the United States in 1973 as a Montessori teacher. Deciding to lead a spiritual life, she had a 1st ordination in May 2000. In April, she went back to Sri Lanka to get the Bhikkhuni Ordination at the Golden Temple in Dambulla. As a resident bhikkhuni at the Minnesota Buddhist Vihara, she helps in the Children’s Dhamma Program, Buddhist & Pali College of USA and in the Meditation Program.
