HONORARY ABBOT OF MINNESOTA VIHARA TITLE CONFERRED ON MATARA MONK.

The Minnesota Buddhist Vihara has presented the title of “ Honorary Abbot of the Minnesota Buddhist Vihara” to Venerable Ullala Chandima Maha Thera,Director of Sri Mathikarama of Uda Aparekka in Matara District.

Venerable Chandima Mahathera is also the Director of Sri Dhammananda Pirivena , Kamburupitiya Matara and Abbot of Rohana Vipassana Meditation Center , Aagarawela , Matara

A justice of the Peace of the area , Venerable Chandima will be presented with the title at a ceremony at Matara on June 10 said, Pandith Venerable Witiyala Seevalie , founder Abbot of the Minnesota Buddhist Vihara of Minneapolis, USA
